command line - Publishing Reports on tableau via tabcmd -


I wanted to publish the makeup report through the CMD Commands and was able to successfully do it, I have a concern " Connect the Twbx file to the data source in the 'TabCMD Commands.

The following commands I used to do:

Log in to Mesoba Server: 

  tabcmd .exe login --server http: // serverName - if "username" - password "password" - site ""   
 McBuou Repo Teblu server to Ting:  
  Publish -C "E: \ lake \ Aktivlreportonam. TBX "-n" New Report Name.twbx "--project projectName - DB-User" DBusername "- DB-Password" DB Password "  
 While I published the report, I used to write my DB credentials However, I did not mention the name of the DB server name and the DB name for that database, from which the twibs file will be obtained.  
 I have several DBs using the same identity, What db server name To specify the name of the DB, there is no way in the CMDD in which report  
   
 
 
 Unless you have a pressing reason, I publish the .twb file instead of the .twbx file  
 The first thing I see is to publish the data source in which you publish The workbook may be connected through the Cocoa server. Denshiyls is turned on to embed and workbooks and different connection steps will allow you to update. This is particularly useful if different tempo data connections and workbooks.  
 Before publishing an unsupported hack, your script is to update the twb file. This is just an XML file and the information you want to change should be with the data connection details. If you go this route, then standard disclaimers apply. Do not modify backup backup original, prepare a revised version, expect to make changes to your script when cocoa version changes, etc. Yet it is not very difficult to make an understanding of its XML. You can probably do it with just a few lines of XSLT, but even a simple string replacement can be quite good.  
 Even though I used to go with the shared data source from hacking of TBB Internal in almost all cases.
