html - Perl -- how to open / read / print -- directory and file content -

Question (April 24, 2014): I'm exploring a way to avoid manually Modifying a webpage to include links to files in the directory, using syntax highlighting for the content of those files displayed as code-snippets There is an easy way to use file-manager scripts (for example, * .cgi or * .php), to evaluate files in a specific directory and to include their content in a webpage?

In other words, I want to be able to add / delete / modify a code snippet file manually from one directory and the snippets directory of the script every time the page is loaded Rate (new). As it stands now, I must manually edit my webpage to rename license.txt if I have given that file the name on the server, just a directory (e.g., / home / legallist / public_html / code_snippets ) and the script is to populate the webpage with the contents of the files in that directory to evaluate the contents of that directory. What behavior can a * .cgi or * .php file manager do?

This server is technology. In server-side javascript, you can use the nodejs' fs module and output the content.

"Syntax Highlighting" is client-side technology, and you can use code-colored libraries that you prefer.
